New York City Trip! Summer in the City!

Flight:
Students make and pay for their own flight per our suggestion.
Arrive: Monday August 31st, 2009
Depart: Thursday September 3rd, 2009
Other flights available on those days for students who choose to come later or
leave earlier. The price is subject to change with different times being used.
Transfer to Hotel:
We can a coach bus from airport to hotel transfer and collect money for this prior
to departure (good introduction and easy way to get to hotel) –depends on how
much group is willing to chip in for the bus
Hotel:
One student must reserve on their credit card –rates based on 4 per room (2
double beds) or 2 per room (bed options available) – students arrange for their
own roommates. They are all responsible for payment directly to the hotel.
(We have a block of 15 rooms held with the W-Hotel Times Square).
Average rate is $195; 4 person occupancy
Average rate is $300; 2 person occupancy
Other Transportation:
Unlimited subway pass (we take the subway and airtrain back to the airport)
Museum Tours:
Museum tours with guide for Metropolitan Museum of Art; Guggenheim (or
Cooper Hewitt) and MoMA
Average Prices:
Flight (varies); Hotel total based on 2 persons ($300.00) 4
persons ($195.00); Coach (Around $20.00); Metro pass ($25.00); 3 Museums
with tours (Around $45.00)
TOTAL Estimate for above: $500.00 – $600.00 (depending on when you
reserve) does not include food, drinks or shopping.
